Members of the College of Optometrists have until Monday October 23 at 5pm to submit nominations for representatives on the professional body's council.
There are 14 vacancies across nine regions in the UK, including three positions for London, following a change to the organisation's governance structure last year.
'The College of Optometrists belongs to and is driven by its members,' said College president Kevin Lewis.
'Its governance structure is designed to ensure that the College's direction and strategy are informed by the needs and views of a representative cross section of our membership. Council sets the professional direction of the organisation, and becoming a member gives optometrists a real opportunity to make a difference to the development of the profession and the College alike.'
