Monday (January 16) is the closing date for nominations to the College of Optometrists council for members based in nine UK regions.
The council, which meets three times a year, is responsible for determining the strategic and professional direction of the College and monitoring the performance of the Board of Trustees.
Nominations are welcomed from those members from the East, Northern Ireland, Scotland, London, North West, South East, West Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber.
During their three-year term of office, members are responsible for bringing other members' views to the College's attention and sharing the 'College's thinking, direction and activity within their region'.
