DO conditions revoked

A GOC fitness to practise committee review hearing has revoked conditions placed upon DO Sheraz Malik after it ruled his fitness to practise was no longer impaired.

Malik was placed on conditional registration in May 2011 after a committee heard he withheld details of a conviction for possession of Class A and B drugs in 2010.

The committee said Malik had shown no breaches of the conditions, demonstrated insight into the matters that brought him before them and was satisfied he no longer posed a risk to the public.
