has decided to step down as DOCET (the Directorate of Optometric Continuing Education and Training) chair after around ten years in the role, with optometrist Rob Hogan appointed as his successor.
Hogan will be joining the executive committee for its June 16 council meeting.
DOCET was set up by the Department of Health to manage government funds for the provision of continuing education and training (CET) for all UK registered optometrists.
