Practices are being urged to get their entries in for the 2007 Optician Awards as the February 19 deadline looms.
Optician is calling on practices from the multiple and independent sectors to share their success and experience with the rest of the profession to highlight some of the positive aspects of optical practices.
Ten categories are available for entry, with four brand new trophies, plus some perennial favourites. This year's Awards presentation ceremony will be held on the Saturday night of Optrafair, April 21, in the palace suite of the Birmingham Hilton Metropole. The evening will have a James Bond theme and Optician is close to securing one of the UK's best-loved comediennes to host the night's entertainment.
The Awards judging will take place at the Optician offices on February 28 and includes a host of leading figures from the optical bodies.
The Optician Awards is the one night of the year when the whole profession can concentrate on the positive aspects of the business and reward excellence and achievement in the full gaze of an audience of optical professionals and industry specialists.
