A regional survey conducted by multiple Specsavers has revealed that 21 per cent of drivers are failing to attend a regular eye tests.
In the survey, conducted at the Kent County Show as part of Specsavers’ Drive Safe campaign, around a fifth of 177 respondents had skipped a two yearly test.
Ashley Smith, manager of Specsavers in Sevenoaks said: ‘Eye tests can often be overlooked by people who don’t have to wear glasses. It’s imperative that drivers go for regular check-ups – otherwise, they’re not only putting themselves at risk on the roads but others as well.’
