
The BCLA’s new president Sarah Farrant will deliver a tour of the past, present and future of dry eye disease during her Presidential Address at 30 Euston Square, London, on September 18.
Farrant’s address will cover the origins of dry eye disease, review diagnosis and management through the ages, address ongoing barriers to setting up dry eye clinics and explore the evolution of research and technology.
‘Being able to deliver a Presidential Address just a few months after taking on the role of leading the BCLA is a huge honour and I am looking forward to the chance to meet fellow eye care professionals, catch up with colleagues and welcome some of our new members,’ she said.
