The Andrew Actman 2000 collection features a variety of fashion-led acetate and titanium unisex frames. Design is minimalistic with a focus on clean shapes and clever lines, says the company. For the coming season, the metal aviator style is captured in the model Stowe, available in slate, matt gold and matt silver. Mulsanne and Pendine are lightweight, rectangular metal frames which offer a graduated colour scheme. Mulsanne comes in copper/pewter, blue/pewter and pink/pewter. Two-tone Pendine is available in bronze and green, green and lilac, and blue and slate. For those searching for acetate frames, the two new models are Hockenheim and Salzburg. Hockenheim is a mini oval frame with spring hinges in moss green, brown tortoise and dabble brown. Sunglasses in this collection have strong and streamlined shapes and include De Ville, a shallow rectangular acetate model with contrasting arms, and a wide, rectangular frame with heavy arms, called Ragtop. - For more information on Andrew Actman frames, telephone 020 8544 9888. - This summer's sunglasses from Silhouette's Titan Minimal Art collection are set to take minimalism to new heights. The titanium frames, weighing 8gms each, come in various unisex, slightly wraparound shapes in curved rectangles and ovals. The curved lenses come in reflective gold, silver or tinted tones of grey, green or midnight blue. The sunglass collection, which complements the range of ophthalmic frames of the same range, offers rimless or colourful SPX frames. The company says the collection has won numerous awards and has been on display at London's Design Museum. - For further information, contact Silhouette on 020 8889 9997.
