New guidance for GPs, consultants and optometrists on assessing their patients’ fitness to drive has been given a ‘major’ update by the DVLA.

The new guidance was said to be clearer and easier to navigate. The new guidance can be found at www.gov.uk/dvla/fitnesstodrive
