It takes something out of the ordinary for the Optician products desk to get excited about a new frame collection, but the DPI line from Dzmitry Samal was just that.
Inspired by 8-bit graphics of video games from the 1980s, frames in the new collection have done away with notions of gentle curves and swept brows, opting instead for retro shapes with pixelated corners and bold styling.
The frames, all crafted from acetate in France, feature an internal rim which allows them to be fitted with either sunglass or ophthalmic lenses. Four styles comprise the collection, 5DPI, 6DPI, 7DPI and 4DPI which is a dedicated sunglass style.
