Topcon asked for ultimate trust from its customers when it asked them to speed round a race track wearing a blindfold.
The equipment firm invited a group of eye care professionals to the Bedfordshire Autodrome Racing Circuit last month for a track day experience.
Supporting chosen charity Speed of Sight, they drove dual controlled track and off-road cars.
After a few laps, the group agreed to be blindfolded for one circuit of the race track to experience the impact of blindness.
Mike Newman, CEO of Speed of Sight, said: ‘Without the support of companies like Topcon, who have a respect for the social value on visually impaired and disabled community, we would not be able to deliver these life-changing experiences.’
