Elite swimmer Mark Deans gets eye examination at Vision Express

City of Glasgow swimmer Mark Deans (right) was recently given an eye examination at Vision Express Buchanan Galleries by OO Andrea Montgomery (left) ahead of his remaining races this year.

Deans recently secured a top 20 place in the open water swim at the European Championships in Berlin and plans to participate in the Faros Marathon in Croatia on August 30 and the International Swimming meeting in Cyprus in October.

‘With any training, it is essential to ensure all parts of my body are fit and healthy and, as I spend a lot of time under water, I need to make sure my eyes are regularly examined,’ said Deans.
