Vision Express backs water ski talent

A teenage water skier has praised Vision Express for its support over the past four years after competing in an international water skiing competition this month.

Harry Young from Gateshead, pictured having an eye test with optometrist Claire Grant, has been water-skiing for ten years.

He was a regular visitor to Vision Express Metrocentre as he requires contact lenses to compete.

Young said: ‘My thanks go to Vision Express for its continued support – I heavily rely on partnerships such as this one, to allow me to continue to train and compete. Keeping on top of my eye health is really important due to the fact I spend so much of my time in the water. Each contact lens has to be thrown away and replaced after every session and frequent eye health checks are essential.’
