Liz Danielewicz

West End optometrist Elzbieta Danielewicz passed away last month at her home in London, aged 62, as a result of pneumonia.

Having grown up in North Wales, Danielewicz moved to London to study at City University and in the words of her sister Marta 'never left the City'.

Dispensing optician Roger Pope, for whom she worked, said: 'I knew Liz for 35 years when she started at Keelers and our paths kept crossing over the years and she came to work for me in New Cavendish Street 15 years ago. Prior to that, she had worked at Theodore Hamblin in Wigmore Street, at Harrods and more recently at Vision Care and Chiltern Street Opticians.
