Enhance your OCT skills at Optrafair

Optician offers readers the chance to take part in a unique event at this year’s Optrafair where they can discuss their OCT records and findings with a panel of experts

discAs more and more practices start using OCT, the benefits of the instrument in early disease detection, in monitoring existing disease, and in supporting and supplementing other techniques, such as fields assessment, is becoming accepted.

With this expansion in use, more and more cases are coming to light where the image might not seem to make sense, where there is an anomaly that is difficult to explain, or simply where some more input in how to interpret the data would be useful.

Furthermore, some of you will be finding OCT data that is quite distinct or unusual and worth sharing with others. With this in mind, Optician has teamed up with Heidelberg Engineering UK to launch an OCT peer discussion and clinic at Optrafair in Birmingham (April 18-20). At this session, readers will have the opportunity to earn peer to peer CET points by discussing some interesting case studies and have the opportunity to discuss or debate their own cases of interest.
