The company saw a 10 per cent rise in half-year operating profit at €267m on sales which rose 8.4 per cent to €1.477bn. The highlight of the period was the success of progressive and anti-reflective lenses and there was a 9.9 per cent rise in basic earning per share.
Essilor said it expected to report high-quality financial results for the full year.
