Part A (Visual perception and optical technologies) will take place on June 6, part B (Management of vision problems) on June 4 and part C (General health and ocular abnormality) on June 5.
The deadline for the registration for the clinical examination is March 15. The written examination (multiple-choice test) will take place at the beginning of October in St Etienne (France).
Established by the European Council of Optometry and Optics (ECOO), the diploma is the responsibility of the German professional body, the Zentralverband der Augenoptiker (ZVA) and is aimed at guaranteeing a unified qualification in the training of optometrists.
