Every major event in optical diary listed in new Outlook calendar

Optician will launch an electronic Outlook calendar containing important dates in the optical diary. The trial version, which users will import into their own Outlook calendars, will contain important dates from July 2010 to Optrafair on April 9-11, 2011. A second version with updated events will be made available in the autumn of 2010.

Users will receive the calendar as a file which can be imported into their own calendars on Microsoft Outlook and which will contain all the important dates and events pertinent to the UK optics industry.

The trial version of the calendar will be available free from Optician at the end of the month. Anyone wishing to list a diary date in the calendar or receive the calendar file for download should email kay.hevey@rbi.co.uk.
