Expectations high for Independents Day

Independents Day 2007 looks set to become the biggest yet following keen interest from delegates and exhibitors.

David Goad, director of the organising company Proven Track Record, said the event had received amazing support from the industry, leading to a doubling in size of the exhibition.

'The demand from companies to exhibit in this, an Optrafair year, has been phenomenal. We now have over 20 companies including the addition of the likes of Topcon, Zeiss, Nikon and marc'ennovy to our line-up of sponsors.'

Title sponsor Bausch & Lomb is the latest sponsoring company and offers a guaranteed £99 delegate fee to members of its Independent Partnership programme, saving those attending £60 per ticket.
