The categories are: - Eye Care Practice of the Year, sponsored by Ciba Vision - Contact Lens Practice of the Year, sponsored by Vistakon - Children's Eye Care Practice of the Year, sponsored by Brulimar - Specialist Eye Care Team of the Year, sponsored by Grafton Optical - Dispensing Practice of the Year, sponsored by ABDO - Practice Marketing Initiative of the Year, sponsored by Signet Armorlite - Practice Management Initiative of the Year, sponsored by LMS Professions Finance - 1999 Contribution to Optics Award, sponsored by Specsavers - Design Practice of the Year. There are also two new awards, Reception Team of the Year (sponsored by Wesley Jessen) and the 1999 Eye Care for the Elderly Award.
