The Eye Health Alliance's attendance at the party conferences for the first time this year shows that the sector is now serious about working together to promote eye health to parliamentarians as well as other stakeholders.
With the aim of raising awareness of the importance of eye health and the health benefits of regular sight testing, the party conferences provide a great opportunity for the Alliance to get its message to key policy-makers.
With two new party leaders and another set for an imminent departure, this autumn was bound to spark some interesting debate. In terms of health policy, much of the public debate has focused on the future of the NHS and particularly how we can continue to a fund a service with ever growing demands.
