Organisers of next month’s National Eye Health Week are urging healthcare professionals to help inspire the public to take better care of their eyes.
Participants were also asked to sign up to ‘the National Eye Health Week Twitter Thunderclap’. This is an automated message that will be posted simultaneously on all registered Twitter accounts at 11am on 21 September promoting eye health.
A range of new supporter resource materials will be published on the Vision Matters website this week including flyers on men’s and women’s eye health, an Amsler grid and guide to dry eyes.
Many supporter events have been planned, including the RNIB ‘Eye Pod’ visiting Sutton high street, Surrey.
