National Eye Health Week has announced four new collaborations for this year’s campaign.
Fight for Sight and the College of Optometrists have become partners, while Viteyes from Butterflies Healthcare will sponsor a nutrition initiative during the event, taking place from September 16-22.
Primary Health Net will also team up with the campaign to help boost recognition and engagement from eye health intermediaries and the public, it was announced this week.
Kamlesh Chauhan, president of the College of Optometrists, said: ‘The College has a long-shared ambition with NEHW to improve the state of the nation’s eye health and we are delighted to be joining forces for the 2013 campaign.’
