Eye Index celebrates its second anniversary in style

The Eye Index specialist glazing laboratory of St Ives, near Huntingdon, is celebrating its second anniversary.
The lab was set up by well-known figures in the world of prescription manufacturing, Tony Harris (below left) and Andrew Kennedy (below right), in response to the growing demand for specialist glazing services.
They report a highly successful first two years Ð after less than a year, more space was required as business increased and the company's reputation grew.
Production demand over the past year had led to further increases in technical staff, recruited for their specialist glazing experience. This includes rimless and 8-base 'wraparound' prescription sunglass lenses for sports eyewear and fashion wraps.
