Eye Nutrition Meeting held in Barcelona

Experts attending the Eye Nutrition Meeting hosted by Laboratoires Théa in Barcelona, Spain last month were surprised to find themselves preparing their own dinner on the opening night.

Using produce from the city’s famous Boquería market, the meal was based on ingredients rich in antioxidants and macular pigments.

More than 80 ophthalmologists from 20 countries attended the meeting to discuss the latest research into age-related macular degeneration and nutrition.
