Over 200 delegates attended the first Eyecare 3000 clinical conference at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in Westminster last weekend.
Delegates were able to attend a selection of lectures, workshops and peer review sessions as well as a major exhibition of suppliers to the optical profession.
Lectures included a review of meibomian gland dysfunction by optometrist Brian Tompkins and a discussion of risk factors for age-related macular degeneration by consultant ophthalmologist Mike Potts (pictured).
The organisers of the event, Replay Learning, said: 'We are very pleased with how the event turned out and will be looking at running a similar event next year.'
