Eyeplan gets AOP approval

Eyeplan has retained its AOP endorsement as an approved supplier to members, after the AOP's three-yearly review conducted in the autumn.

Service delivery, overall cost and value for money were considered. Stephen King, AOP member benefits manager, said: 'Our reviews were conducted with both existing and potential providers for each service.

In the case of Eyeplan, the standards of services we looked at were high and we choose only to endorse one provider for each service.'

Formed in 1997 and now with tens of thousands of UK members, Eyeplan had significant growth in 2006. AOP members receive a reduction in Eyeplan membership fees, and further reductions for two or three more practices.
