Eye care payment scheme provider Eyeplan joins leg of Big Blind Walk

Eye care payment scheme provider Eyeplan recently joined a leg of the Big Blind Walk 2018, a sight loss fundraising and awareness initiative founded by Julian Jackson, who is walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

The Eyeplan marketing team joined the walk on May 10 and trekked for 10 hours, covering more than 20 miles from Frome in Somerset to Castle Combe in Wiltshire, raising £1,350 for the Big Blind Walk’s nominated organisations, the National Eye Research Centre and social enterprise Visionbridge.

‘I am thrilled with Eyeplan’s support,’ said Julian Jackson.‘This show of commitment is a brilliant example of how supporters can get so enthusiastically behind the Big Blind Walk and through raising awareness of sight loss and fundraising for eye research, can help us all take a step towards creating a future where everyone can see.’
