Eyes on the Common practice opens in Ealing

British rugby union player Joe Simpson helped open new independent practice Eyes on the Common in Ealing, London this week.

Simpson is a family friend of practice owner Jeanne Mendonsa Waas and was delighted to cut the ribbon on the shop’s front door.

He said: ‘Owning a shop is something Jeanne has always talked about, she has lots of charisma and drive, and is one of the friendliest people you could meet- I know she will be brilliant.

‘I’m blown away by how good the shop looks, I’m used to opticians looking bland and rigid but this place looks really chic and modern.’
