The first run of entry forms went out with last week's optician and two more postings of the entry form will be made in forthcoming issues.
There are a range of new categories and sponsors for this year's optician Awards, that will culminate with a black tie dinner at the Chiswell Street Brewery in central London in May.
And this year the Contact Lens Practice of the Year category of the awards will have a special emphasis on the pro-active promotion of contact lenses and development of contact lenses within optical practices.
New categories for the event include a competition to find the Large High Street Practice of the Year, the Fashion Eyewear Practice of the Year and the Start-up Practice of the Year.
