Feel Good Contacts highlights AMD

Feel Good Contacts collated a series of festive images and altered them to highlight how a person living with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) might experience Christmas.

Tina Patel, a contact lens optician at Feel Good Contacts, said: ‘Simple tasks for non-sufferers, such as carving the turkey, baking, wrapping presents and reading Christmas song lyrics can become stressful for those with AMD, as the condition may hinder their ability to participate.'

The online retailer sought to raise awareness about the different types of AMD, at-risk groups and provide tips on reducing risk, including eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly.
