First World Keratoconus Day to be held

Centre for Sight to host world’s first event to raise awareness of condition

Eye care specialists Centre for Sight will host the world’s first keratoconus day on November 10.

Keratoconus affects 1 in 1,800 Britons, with the prevalence as high as 1 in 1,450 in some ethnic groups.

World Keratoconus Day aims to increase awareness of the condition and treatments available.

To accompany the day, Centre for Sight has created an infographic which provides a quick overview of the condition.
