Vision Expo East, held in New York from April 15-17, marked its 30th anniversary with almost 200 new exhibitors as well as a packed education programme and celebrity appearances.
Show stalwarts such as Marchon and Topcon, which have both exhibited every year since Vision Expo’s inception in 1986, were joined by 196 first-time exhibitors at the Jacob Javits Centre in Manhattan.
‘Our first experience of Vision Expo as an exhibitor has been a great one,’ said Daniel Childs, brand director at Norman Childs Eyewear. ‘The international dimension has been particularly good – we’ve had interest in our products from people based all over the world.’
