Leicestershire-based Edmonds & Slatter Opticians raised £200 at the Blaby Gala to help a local boy living with cerebral palsy.
The practice held a stall at the gala and dedicated its fundraising tombola to Joshua Orme, who attends a mainstream local school in his wheelchair but benefits from expensive physiotherapy sessions that are infrequently provided by the NHS.
Orme and his sister are pictured collecting the cheque from optometrist Saagar Hirani at the practice.
