Ginger spices up Maui Jim

New from Maui Jim is the Ginger women's acetate sunglass - an addition to a growing line of fashion-forward frames. 'With Ginger, you get the best eye protection on the market packaged in a high-style pair of sunglasses,' said a Maui Jim statement.

The 6-base frame has a mid-size, round silhouette and is available in four colours charcoal, mauve, chocolate and matt sandstone (pictured) with graduated lenses.

The frame is fitted with the manufacturer's SuperThin glass lenses, claimed to be 20 per cent thinner and also lighter than conventional glass lenses. Up to nine layers of the manufacturer's proprietary PolarizedPlus2 lens technology have been used and were claimed to block 100 per cent of UV rays and 99.9 per cent of glare. Three lens colour options are available - Neutral Grey for bright sunny days and HCL Bronze or Maui Rose lenses for variable light conditions.
