Sunglass for Mavericks

Maui Jim has released the Mavericks aviator-style sunglass. The manufacturer said the sunglass was reminiscent of original 1930s styles, but incorporated the world's most advanced lens technology to protect eyes from sun damage.

The 6-base sunglass has a classic and simple silhouette, with a thin full-metal double-bridged frame made from titanium. Three frame colour options are available, with two lens tints for different light conditions. The Gold frame (pictured) is fitted with HCL Bronze lenses for varying light conditions, while the silver and gloss black frames come with Neutral Grey lenses that provide protection for bright, sunny days.

The glass lenses are wrapped in up to nine layers of the manufacturer's proprietary PolarizedPlus2 coating, which it claimed cuts 99.9 per cent of harmful glare from any flat, smooth, or shiny surfaces.
