Mondottica has signed a licence agreement with Manchester fashion brand Gio-Goi to design and distribute its new eyewear range, which will include ophthalmic and sun collections.

Mondottica has signed a licence agreement with Manchester fashion brand Gio-Goi to design and distribute its new eyewear range, which will include ophthalmic and sun collections.

The new range will be launched at Silmo 2008 and will target younger wearers.

Gio-Goi managing director Marc Killbourn said: 'Choosing the right partner is paramount to the success of any launch and Mondottica's expertise in this sector provided the perfect platform for this.'

Michael Jardine, chairman of Mondottica, commented: 'We are delighted to be chosen to create and distribute Gio-Goi Eyewear globally. Gio-Goi and Mondottica are both young and exciting companies with shared aspirations.'
