Give your skills a boost on Independents' Day

If you're an independent practitioner interested in both clinical and commercial training, then an event which kick starts this July could be just for you.

If you're an independent practitioner interested in both clinical and commercial training, then an event which kick starts this July could be just for you.

The inaugural Independents' Day is being organised by training company Proven Track Record, and its one-day CET symposium has been designed with these two topics specifically in mind. The symposium will take place at the British Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on July 4.

'Independent practitioners are optical professionals first but also need to operate in an increasingly tough commercial environment,' said PTR co-director Nick Atkins.

'The idea of Independents' Day is to recognise this difficult combination of skills and provide owners and managers with an educational day that benefits both aspects of business success.'

Co-director David Goad added: 'It is designed to be an entertaining day with uplifting presentations from quality speakers with a proven track record for actually doing what they say.'

The PTR team said incentive packages linked to attendance would be available in the next few weeks.
