GlareControl to major in patient leaflets from LVS

u Low Vision Supplies of Billingham, Cleveland, has launched a new patient-friendly leaflet giving details of GlareControl, the photochromic range of blue-filtering lenses developed by Corning for specially glare-sensitive eyes.

There are six different filters Ð including the Ôsunglass lookÕ GlareCutter and CPF 527X. The range utilises Corning photochromic filter technology to maximise vision and eye comfort in indoor and outdoor conditions, even for people with vision problems associated with eye conditions such as macular degeneration, macular dystrophy, retinitis pigmentosa and lens opacities, says the company.
Each filter is named for its cut-off point, from 450 to 550 nm.
