Staff raise £1,500 for SeeAbility in Tough Mudder Challenge

Optix Software staff recently completed the gruelling Tough Mudder Challenge to raise almost £1,500 for SeeAbility.

Twenty-one staff and partners from the optical practice management software company endured 12 miles of mud, 10,000 volts of electricity and other tough obstacles on a course inspired by military training.

Optix support team member Sasha Taylor said: ‘I can’t believe we actually did the Tough Mudder. I’ve been wanting to do this since I was a kid, or more of a kid! It was amazing and everyone’s support and encouragement meant the world to me. I think the whole team is awesome.’

Trevor Rowley, managing director of Optix Software, added: ‘I had a very enjoyable day watching some of my staff being electrocuted. In all seriousness, I am in awe of everyone who took part and completed such a horrendously hard assault course.’
