A fitness to practise committee has erased Sanna Aslam from its register
The General Optical Council (GOC) has erased Manchester-based student dispensing optician, Sanna Aslam, from its register.
A fitness to practise committee hearing found Aslam’s fitness to practise impaired by reason of misconduct and she is in now unable to undertake training as a dispensing optician in the UK.
The ruling related to Aslam’s dishonesty in obtaining a number of free trial daily contact lenses for someone she knew. She has until February 20 to appeal.
