General Optical Council publishes policy on consensual panel disposal
The General Optical Council (GOC) has published its policy on consensual panel disposal.
It will be used to identify and progress fitness to practice cases that might be suitable for early conclusion.
In consensual panel disposal cases, the GOC, if the registrant admits to the allegations in full, will seek to agree to arrange an appropriate level of sanction with the culprit and will make a sanction recommendation to the fitness to practice committee.
