The GOC said this week that it would revamp its communications strategy to improve delivery of information to members and place greater emphasis on interaction with the public.
The strategy was unveiled at the Council's first collective meeting of the year during which other key objectives for the next 12 months were discussed. These included conducting a survey of registrants to gauge the perception of regulation, customer service and what can be improved.
The redesign and relaunch of the GOC website was also discussed as well the setting up of a student forum as a mechanism for engagement with the Council.
