
A new website has been launched by the General Optical Council (GOC), which it said would transform the experience of visitors in line with its five-year Fit for the Future strategy.
It was developed using feedback from eye care professionals, businesses, education providers and patients to meet the needs of a variety of visitors.
New features include an enhanced public register, clearer navigation and layout, as well as an updated search function.
Yeslin Gearty, director of operations, said: ‘We hope that the new design will make finding and searching for information much easier and quicker and that it will be an overall positive experience for visitors.’
