Dispensing optician is suspended from GOC register for 12 months
A dispensing optician based in Hertfordshire has been suspended from the GOC register for 12 months.
Nimesh Patel was found to have his fitness to practise impaired by a GOC Fitness to Practise Committee by reason of misconduct regarding processing refunds and stealing money from the till at his workplace.
The deadline for any appeals Patel is able to make against his suspension is December 5.
