GOClists election nominations

The General Optical Council has released details of the nominations for ophthalmic opticians representatives on the Council in England and Scotland. Polling day is November 12.
There are a total of three places for ophthalmic opticians in England, and there are 10 nominees. In addition there is one place for an ophthalmic optician in Scotland and two nominees.
The nominations for England are Paul Carroll (Preston), David Cartwright (Nottingham), Richard Cockell (Exmouth), Nathan Efron (Manchester), Judith Morris (London), Stephen Reily (Guisborough), Nicholas Rumney (Hereford), Stephen Taylor (Ferndown, Dorset), Charles Wass (Manchester), and Robert Wilkes (Liverpool).
The nominations for Scotland are Donald Cameron (Edinburgh) and William Cuthbert (Dundee).
The returning officer, GOC registrar Peter Coe, has announced the sole places for Wales and Northern Ireland, Richard Roberts and Professor Roger Anderson, have been elected unopposed.
Representatives of dispensing opticians Ð Rosemary Bailey, John Baker, Jennifer Brower, Kim Devlin, and Joram Fried Ð have all been elected unopposed.
