GOC's CET surgery a success at Optrafair

epresentatives from the General Optical Council (GOC) fielded questions from optometrists and dispensing opticians on various issues including meeting CET requirements and revalidation at Optrafair. During the show, registrants have an opportunity to attend CET surgery sessions to get one-one advice. According to a GOC spokeswoman, during the first two days of the show visitors to the stand included a significant number of DOs and OOs looking to return to work.

'We had quite a few people who come to stand who had either taken a career break or were on maternity leave and were keen to return to work. They were mainly seeking advice on the requirements for returning to the register.'
