A limited edition lens cloth has been designed by artist Grayson Perry for independent optical group Cubitts in support of homelessness charity Shelter.
The cloth, which is available online and in Cubitts, depicts how gentrification and struggles to get on the property ladder can contribute to homelessness.
Tom Broughton, founder of Cubitts, said: ‘Grayson Perry is a cultural icon and his use of art to communicate contemporary social concerns, prejudices and issues is inspiring. We’re honoured to be involved in a part of his current work and work with him to help raise money for Shelter, who play an integral role in helping people that are devastated by the housing economy, as well as campaigning for housing justice.’
Cubitts has previously had lens cloths designed for charity by artists, such Tracey Emin, David Shrigley and Camille Walala.
