Greater Manchester MP visits local Specsavers

Jonathan Reynolds, MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, visited Specsavers Hyde to hear how local eye and ear experts had been delivering care and supporting the high street.

Jonathan Reynolds, who is also the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, noted: ‘It was a pleasure to visit Specsavers Hyde and learn more about how they are looking after the health of the community and supporting the economic health of the country.’

The practice and its sister practice in Denton employed 48 people across a range of roles, with Specsavers offering continuing professional development to support people’s careers.

Martin Booth, a partner at Specsavers Hyde, said that it was great to welcome Jonathan Reynolds to the practice and talk about how Specsavers was providing NHS eye and ear health care on the high street.
