Green is for Guide Dogs

Specsavers Opticians in Cardiff City Centre is selling green wrist bands in aid of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

The plastic wrist bands feature puppy paw prints and the words 'paws for thought'.

Costing £1, all money raised will go directly to the charity to help continue its work for blind and partially-sighted people in the UK.

'This is a fun and fashionable way for our dedicated customers to show their support,' said store director Frank Moloney.

'We hope that wearing these wristbands will give people the opportunity to show their support for the work we do,' added Laura Stuart from Guide Dogs for the Blind.
